installations being prepared for a DIA/CIA Panel. The series is being

port was performed by the Production Center lPlc.

the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those
appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not
observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.
Titles and letter designators for the various facilities are as
follows: (A) railroad service, (B) road service, (C) landing strips,
(D) administrative and troop housing areas, (E) storage areas, (F) am
munition storage areas, (G) POL storage areas, (H) other buildings and

SUMMARY
25X1 D
Mukachevo Military Training Area is lo-
cated 5.4 kilometers (km) south of Mukachevo
(Figure 1). This training area covers approxi-
mately 2,800 acres and consists of (Figure 2)
a tracked-vehicle driver training course, two
moving target tank firing ranges, and a probable
bivouac troop training area.
The training area was covered by^KEY-
Railroad Service
Rail service is available at Mukachevo.
Road Service
Secondary roads from Mukachevo serve
the training area.
None in training area. Mukachevo Airfield
is located 3.0 km west.
Area M is an irregularly shaped, closed-
circuit, tracked-vehicle driver-training course

the area receives consistently heavy usage in
the summer and fall months with trackage re-
maining relatively the same. With the excep-
tion of the addition of one tank run between

possible bivouac or troop training area.
