1~his report is one in a serl.es on Soviet C-round T'orce and logistic
installations being prepared for a DIA/CIA Panel. The series is being
coordinated, published and disseminated by NI?IC. The photographic
analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production
Center 1Plc (DIA). hhe photographic analysis for this particular re-
port was performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Croup.
In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for
the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those
appearing in the project reduirement. When a specific facility is not
observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report.
Titles and. letter. designators for the various facilities arc as
follows: (A) railroad service, (I3) road service, (C) landing strips,
(D) administrative and troop housing areas, (L) storage areas, (T") am-
munition storage areas, (G) POL storage areas, (H) other buildings and
facilities (J) equipment storage/maintenance areas, (K) athletic fields,
(L) small arms firing ranges, (NIA driver training areas, (N) tank/
assault gun firing ranges, (P) flat trajectory firing ranges, (Q) artillery
emplacement (batteries), (R) infantry or combined arms field. train-
ing area or courses, (S) special training facilities, (T) unidentified

Orsha Army Supply Depot (Figure 1) is lo-
cated in the northwest section of Orsha (54-30N
030-24E). It is served by two rail spurs from
the Orsha Railroad Station, Classification Yards
and Shops Northwest and by city streets. The
Orsha Southwest Airfield
is located eleven kilometers (km) to the south-
west and Orsha Petroleum Storage Reserve (BE
is located 3.5 km to the south.
"1 he Supply Depot (Figures 2 and 3) is
secured and covers approximately 32 acres.
It contains one administration building, 30
storage buildings, and eight small support
buildings. A probable fence separates the ad-
ministration area in the western end of the
depot from the remainder of the storage area.

photography and six KEYHOLE missions between

Area E has 28 storage buildings and four
support buildings located in the main storage

pletion of one storage building which was under
construction in ~ replacement of two storage
buildings with larger buildings, and addition
of three storage buildings.
One administration building, two storage
buildings, and four support buildings are located
in the administrative area at the west side of the
installation. -Photography revealed the
addition of the two storage buildings.
