This report supplements NPIC/R-189/63,
1/ which discusses the Marina Gorka MRBM
Complex, previously consisting of one Type II
launch area and an associated rail-to-road
transfer point.
The Marina Gorka Fixed Field MRBM
Site is located in a rolling, wooded area 13
nautical miles (nm) west-southwest of Marina
Gorka and 4 nm east-northeast of Shotsk in
the Belorussian SSR (Figure 1). The site was
present in and can be 25X1 D

is--located 1.8 nm southwest of the field site,
and is oriented on an azimuth of approximately
220 degrees.
The fixed field site (Figure 2) consists of
4 offset in-line launch positions oriented on an
azimuth of approximately 220 de rees. On the
first good quality coverage in
the site appeared to consist of 2
launch positions on a double loop road pattern.
Good quality photography of

disclosed the launch positions
to have been moved somewhat, with 2 additional
launch positions added. Several unidentified
structures were observed adjacent to each of
the internal launch positions. Excellent qual-
ity photography of
,E disclosed no apparent changes. The northern
launch positions are 440 feet apart and the south-
ern launch positions are separated by 560 feet.
No activity was observed at the field site.
