1. La Habana Airborne Training Facility Biltmore, first
9 X1n identified in is 7.5 nautical miles west-

southwest of downtown Havana on the old B11tmore goer course UL
23-05-12N 082-28-50W. As of the facility con- 25X1D
tains an administration area, a main airborne training area,
and a small arms firing range with target run (Figure 1).
2. The training facilities have remained relatively static
since first reported. A portion of the small arms firing range 25X1D
is now being used for parachute rigging. In when last
observed, the installation was still operational as evidenced by
parachute rigging in progress. At least 43 parachutes were
observed in the parachute rigging area.
3. The main airborne training area consists of three air-
craft mockups (one CAB and two HOUND), an obstacle course, a
confidence course, a probable parachute jump tower, a parachute
cable zoom, a harness stock, parachute landing full practice
stands, a probable rappelling tower, and a small arms firing
range which is also used as a parachute rigging area.
