SUBJECT- .Request for an Authorization to Prepare
a Site for a Hiah Precision Stereo
Comparator
1. It is requested that authorization be granted and a
work request be issued to GSA to accomplish alterations and
modifications necessary to prepare an equipment
site on the first floor to ouse the High Precision Stereo
Comparator. The site preparation work should be completed by
15 August 1969, to meet the scheduled installation date for
the equipment.
2. The High Precision Stereo Comparator is an extremely
sophisticated and sensitive inst~mPnt used in photo interpre-
tation, designed and manufactured

a complex arrangement of mirrors, prisms, optical lenses, gazer
beams, granite stage plates, electronic signal devices, and a
miniature computer. All of these items require precise enviro-
mental conditions for operation.

This inc udes a contingency fee for GSA for
the site preparation. ina rawings and specifications for the
site will be available for review and concurrence by RECD/OL
