SUBJECT: Request for Security Clearances
1. It is requested that the following personnel of the

2. It is anticipated that a contract will be let to the
25X1A
]for a program to develop a GEMS technique
which will permit an objective and semi-automated method for the
assessment of the quality of operational photography. A knowledge
of the image parameters of the various types of photography is
basic and essential to the fulfillment of this contract. It is
also essential that the contractor appreciatethe various problems
of assessing image quality at NPIC. The Chief, TID/NPIC has
requested that this contractor become intimately familiar with
their current techniques and the various types of image quality
assessments required of his division.
3. Since the information and data about operational photography
will be required before work under this contract can by initiated,
