A call was made to Mr. C. S. McCamy, National Bureau of Standards and
a request made to receive a proposal on the microdensitometer study by end
of the week (2 August) or by 5 August (Monday).
Mr. McCamy said that it may not be possible for them to commit sufficient
time within the year period proposed for completion of the study to adequately
cover all of the subject matter.
Initial contact with Mr. McCamy was on 8 July 1963, at which time a,
request for a, proposal was made. After three weeks it seems that nothing
has been accomplished in the way of a proposal but a. definite interest was
stated in the project as of this date.
A request for inclusion of total cost and subject matter was made and
agreed upon by Mr. McC`amy.
