During the period covered in this report the scope of
the project was altered to include the features mentioned in the
previous Monthly Report ( June 17 through 17 August ) . These
features were breadboarded and tested with the main position of
the Image Quality Meter and constructed in final forr3 and installed.
Work has continued on the Handbook of instructions and
suitable test material for illustration in this manual was prepared.
Efforts at more precise calibration were made but failed
due to technique errors. However, the next month should see
calibration completed satisfactorily, and the instrument readied
for shipment.
