TASK/PROBLEM
1. To investigate porous air rollers as a means to improve tracking
on film handling equipment.

greater than the width of the film to be used for testing and mounted between
flanges. Sample runs were made on a printer under conditions of varied air
pressures and torque motor voltages.
3.- A very definite improvement in film tracking was noted, but scratches
developed at random.' This was determined to be a result of incomplete lift
