men s now being prepared and will be forwarded separately.
Regarding the price change fx that , quoted i 21., 1963, the
following information is suti,tted for your erence.
a. The estimate was or# ally prepared with information
only in the form of 'a technical proposal available.
This estimate has proven to be inaccurate. The
current estimate is based on completion of the
instrument development through design*
b. The in includes features not 1preeviously
- anticipated e.g (Seaming stand, relay now
includes focus provision-to compensate for lack
of flatness of film `stage) .
c. The number of special parts is greater than originally
anticipated,
d. The tolerances of manufacture have- been tightened to
insure optimum performance.
e. As a result of a recent audit, manuf Maturing overhead
is now 205% versus 185% which was prviousiy quoted.
As stated in the quotation dated 12/30/63 delivery can be made 16
weeks after receipt of your order. To aasi you in obtaining early
delivery I will proceed with the order on ioux} verbal approval,
