Attached are reports regarding 25X1
the Processor. 25X1
2. It is our concerted opinion in PSG that thel 25X1
Processor should not be installed in the NPIC Photo Lab, in that
this prototype will not enhance the Center's operational capabilities
and, make-shift basis for testing, it is estimated it will
cost o prepare the site. It, furthermore, 25X1
will cost manpower to operate his equipment in the test mode and
will be extremely disruptive to our production efforts.
3. It should be noted that the Chiefs of PS]D and the Operations
Staff (of our former organization) argued against this R&D project
at its inception, indicating that this processor was exclusively
designed for pr nessing original negatives, which are not NEIC's
responsibility. 25X1
