Subject: Addendum to OPTOmechanisms' Request for Contract
Amendment on Projects 552 and 552A
Reference: 552-CD-128, dated 23 July 1965
Since the submission of referenced document, has
further reviewed the cost and technical aspects relating to the three (3)
added tasks covered in referenced letter. As a result of this further review
and analysis, we wish to submit revised costs to those contained on page six
(fit of the referenced letter. The new costs are as follows:

Also, as part of this additional review of the project history and
agreements between the customer's technical representative and personnel of

it has been determined that a further added task exists
on subject contracts for increasing the film loop from the quoted 16' to 19'.
This increase in the length of the film loop is different from that proposed
film loop to 20'; that proposal was rejected by the customer and no effort
was expended. Shortly after the program started, the customer requested
we increase the film loop from 16' to 19' staying within the basic frame of
the equipment. Effort was expended in this direction and it was found
possible, without changing the basic configuration drastically, to increase
prior to contract when proposed to increase the

the film loop to the present length of 18'8". The additional costs incurred
to accomplish this added task, verbally requested by the customer, are as
follows:

We respectfully request expeditious action on the part of the
Contracting Officer to resolve these added tasks and accordingly modify
the contract so that the additional funds may be obtained.
