2, EYEPIECE ASSEMBLY
The folded path eonf figuration presented in the
proposal for eyepiece assembly was found to have several
sh?rtc~smings. Tl~e principle disadvantage was rotation of
image, about 68?, wtaen eye stations were interchanged.
Se;~crzdly, the plane of image reversion Was across the width
of tae film rather than along i#s length Thir~3ly, thc~ dove

Image reversion is handled by the use of a plain

is tarried approximz~tely 12a?, as shown in the inset Figure 1,
a plain mirror will be put into its place causing one less
reflection and therefore, a reversion in the right-left plane
will be nc~ted~ Reversion in riyi~t and left channels is in~
~a~~endent of +3+1Ch other did independent also of the motions
