Contractor request for GFE under Contract
IT. O..#6. (OSA_5855_63)
1. As indicated in the attached copy, the Contractor's
letter sets forth three items (Grids, Targets, and Film),to
be furnished as GFE under T. O. #6 by 31 Dec. 1963aand requests
early notification as to availability and delivery.
2. The test resolution targets and film were required as
GFE under the cited technical proposal which was approved by your
office and incorporated into the contract, however the Contractor
appears to be incorrect in stating that we agreed to furnish the
grids.
3. Arrangements to furnish the film have been made by this
office. You are requested to advise us of the availability and
delivery date of the test resolution targets and whether or not
the grids are available to furnish as GFE.

A. Constructed grids to duplicate taking case pitched panoramic
altitude, pitch angle, nadir orientation, and accuracy o
the grid. it is desirable to have this data located on the
film so that it will be reproduced with the grid.
The quantity and orientation of the grids are to be determined
by your people.
A. Resolution targets with a minimun capability of 200 lines
per millimeter.
R. Targets are to be located within the format area centrally
positioned within a total film length of approximately 96
inches.

A. Four (4) 500 foot rolls of type 5427 dupti. acting film (spooled
on standard spools to USA? drawing no. 51017848-12).
The above items were requested as GFR in paragraph 2, Part 3 of our
proposal SHC6343140-157, dated 18 April 1963.
