C. 20024 This Negotiated Task Order is entered into by and between the parties hereto, pursuant to statutory authority, as of 20 November 1967. It is agreed that the Contractor shall provide the necessary material and services to perform the scope of work as set forth in the attached Schedule and shall comply with such other provisions thereof, as may be applicable. The rights and obligations of the parties hereto shall be subject to and governed by this Task Order and the provisions of subject Basic Contract which are incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof. To the extent of any inconsistency between said Basic Contract and this Task Order, the latter shall control. Costs in excess of this amount shall not be incurred without the prior written authorization of the Contracting Officer. The work to be performed under this Task Order shall be completed on or before 20 May 1968. It is requested that you execute all copies of this document. Under Sub-Section 3.3 add: 2x and 3x must be parfocal within lmm, lx must be parfocal within .8 inches from the 2x, b. Sub-Section 3.4 is deleted in its entirety. c. Under Sub-Section 3.5 add: When the rhomboid assembly is installed and properly adjusted to the Zoom 70 or Zoom 240 Power Pod with which it will be used, the image of an object point located in the center of the eyepiece field of view will not move more than 1.0mm (as measured in the eyepiece focal plane) away from the center of the eyepiece field of view when the image rotation prism is rotated through 360? of prism rotation. This criteria will apply for all combinations of zoom settings and objective magnifications values. d. Under Sub-Section 3.6 add: The resolution of thel Zoom 240 with an on axis resolution capability of at least 240 lp/mm, or el Zoom 70 with an on A X1 axis resolution capability of at least 150 lp/mm will not be decreased. over any portion of the field-of-view when the Rhomboids with the lx objectives are used. When the 2x stereo objectives are used the resolution at any point of the field will be double the values found in the lx case. When using the 3x stereo objectives with the Zoom 70, the resolution values will be three times that found using the lx objectives and when used with the Zoom 240, the resolution values will be 2.5 times the values found with the lx objectives. The light transmission characteristics of this prototype with its 2x objectives used on the Zoom 70 will be no less than 75% of the transmission values of the Zoom 70 with the standard 2x Wide Span Rhomboid attachments, In the binocular monoscopic mode the transmission shall be 40% of the stereo- scopic values. e. Under Sub-Section 3.10, delete 3,10.2 in its entirety. PERFORMANCE OF TASK ORDER: This task order shall be performed in two phases as follows: Phase I Design Analysis Study Phase II Final Design and Fabrication PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Phase I The period of performance for Phase I shall be 20 November 1967 to 20 May 1968. Thereafter, a further period of thirty (30) days shall be required by the Government.for.evaluation prior to Design Approval. No work may be performed on any aspect of Phase II prior to receipt of written approval by the Contracting Officer of the Design Analysis and notice to proceed .with the-work of Phase II. All work shall be completed within seven (7) months from the date such approval is received by the Contractor. 1. Reports required by the attached Specification Noo DB-1001, dated 31 August 1966, which is incorporated in and made a part of this task order. 2. Design Analysis Study Report. Phase II One (1) prototype Advanced Stereo Rhomboid (Model II). One (1) Carrying Case for the prototype instrument. Operation and Maintenance Manual. Failure to do so will result in suspension of payment, since the Disbursing Officer is prohibited from making payment without evidence of delivery. CONSIGNEE ADDRESS: 25X1 Whenever a redirection of effort is required not within-the scope originally contemplated, the Contractor may appeal to the Contracting Officer for a written order to perform and a statement that an equitable adjustment in price will be made. Failure to appeal to the Contracting Officer before embarking upon the changed work will not afford protection of the right to additional compensation for such work.
