Approved Fo:elease 2004/07/29 : CIA-RDP78B0471000200010004-6 SUUs 'Z: Cantrac t r 29, 1965 During a recent visit with the cogui7.a3nt technical personnel, a desire was expressed to recast the analytical work in terms of par&- anters which have been found particularly useful for c+ arative eval- uation of 9:uuilar system. In particular, the need was stated for in- f etion on the expected modulation transfer function and sii;nal-tc,- ncisee ratio of the integrated Image. Also, it was r n loci that more emphasis be put on the study of high resolution print-out systems for the integrated Image. This redirection of effort will require an extension of approx- .steely four weeks for coapple than of phase I. An analysis of the Matter is n; ; underway, particularly to the ex- tent that the redirection could affect the planned delivery in October 1966. At this momwit, the October 1966 date still appears realistic. The pro- grans plan calls for a four (4) weak evaluation period between Phase I and II. If that evaluation period could be shortened, then some add- itional time would, of course, be available to assist in keeping the program to its original overall schedule. W shall continue to keep you advised; and if you have any ques tions, please let as know. spry truly yours, I I contracts 'per STAT STAT Approved For Release 2004/07/29: CIA-RDP78B04770A0& ft !~eW by N GA.
