PAR 202. To design and build a prototype enlarger for exposing high-quality briefing prints in formats up to and including 20 x 21- inches in size. Magnification to be in the 10 - 60 diameter range. The enlarger will be able to produce both black-and-white and color prints. Change from one capability to the other should be made with a minimum of effort. 2. PAR 221+. Develop and fabricate an enlarger having continuously variable magnification from 3X to 15X for 70mm negative gate size. Print sizes to range to 40 x 1+0 inches on cut sheet stock. DISCUSSION 3. During December, the contractor presented a verbal briefing of the achievements on this project for three different groups on two differ- ent days at the customer's location. !-. The contractor was authorized by TWX 6097 dated 13 Dec 65 to proceed, on PAR 21+3, with the design and fabrication of a deliverable pro- totype enlarger based on the breadboard design developed on this project and the experience obtained in testing it. 5. All effort was completed except preparation of the final report. By M 6315 dated 21 Jan 66, the customer waived the requirement for a final. report because of the extensive briefing which had been given by the contractor. PLANNED ACTIVITY 6.
