-Sept 1968
SUBJECT: Ikecision Enlarger Prototype (BPE) Operational
Improvements and Maintenance
TASK/PROBLEM
1. Provide photographic enlarger maintenance at the customer's
facility for one recision Enlarger (BPE) and three 10-20-40X
Enlargers.
2. Contractor personnel visited the customer's facility during the
week of 9 September 1968. The purpose of the visit was to perform both
the one-month and six-month preventive maintenance checks on the
Precision Enlarger. (See check list indicating the work performed.)
3. During the maintenance check, it was determined that some of
the lens barrels were loose within the focus barrels. These were
tightened and refocused; a complete photographic check was made to
ensure that the instrument was in proper operating condition.
4. Perform monthly preventive maintenance on the BPE and install
carriage limit switches and vertical speed drive stop on this equipment.
5. Inspect the 10-20-4OX enlargers and perform the monthly
preventive maintenance check.
