During this period we have initiated the following
projects.
to To prepare and start evaporating glassy like
materials. We plan to first learn to evaporate SiO0 We
have installed an oxygen regulator in our evaporator, and
have checked out the monitor.
2. We have nearly completed a design study of a
triplet and four element lens which uses spherical surfaces.
This will provide us a base of comparison to measure our
progress in the design of an aspheric system.
