on 3 December to determine progress on the 1540 Light Table project

reports approximately 60% of the work completed, and
completion date of 15 January 1969.
2. The progress report for the month of October 1968, dated
12 November 19 , stated that "every effort is being made to have a work-
ing assembly of the basic table operating by 1 December." now
reports this working assembly will not be completed for another week, or
about 11 December. Necessary parts for the assembly are presently being
fabricated in their shop.
3. At this point, it is difficult to predict a completion date for
25X1 the project. reports 60% of the work completed. At this rate
of progress since the contract date of 28 June, the completion date would
extend to approximately 10 March 1969. Hopefully, the program will speed
25X1 up with the new quartet of 0 personnel now assigned to the project.
However, there still isn't a complete layout drawing of the design, details
such as number and location of controls are as yet undetermined, and Mr.
25X1 I dvises that there will not be anything of further significance to
o ;Serve and monitor for another ten days, or until about 16 December.
4. Estimated completion date-would you believe-1 February 1969.
