MEMORANDUM FOR: Assistant for Technical Development
1. Attached is a memo written by IPD's analyst. You will
note that our conclusion is that the regular paper with the ballpoint
pen meets our minimum needs.
2. The results, however, are not reproducible and therefore
degrade one of the main functions of the plotter concept, i.e., direct
reproduction. Each plot to be effectively used must be re-drawn.
3. IPD has invested many hundreds of man-hours, and is very
disappointed in the entire plotting effort because of the very poor
quality of the marking system. For the amount of money spent, the
results are very poor. IPD recommends that because of the unsatisfactory
performance the contractor be penalized to the maximum.
