Comparative Analysis of Color/Black and White Photography;
comments concerning
1. Concur with the comments contained in paragraph 2 of reference (a).
2. This evaluation, however, is based on eoverage of Cuban shipping
and does not necessarily apply to all reconnaissance photography. Recent
reports from other sources indicate that aerial reconnaissance color
film is outstanding and shows great promise. With technical advancement
in color photography in the future, it is reasonable to expect improved
analyses from color prints. Therefore, continued evaluation of color
film for photographic interpretation is required and Photo Interpretation
personnel should develop as great a color ana sis capability as possible.
