SUBJECT: High Precision Stereo Comparator Program
1. The project monitor had a telephone conversation with
General Manager, on 16 December 1969. I Istated
has reported daily on his monitor trip tol
2. The following items were reported by
a. The main things important to the stereo comparator optical
system are OK. The optical components look good; only minor
optical rework is required.
b. The interfacing (wiring, drives, etc.) are being straightened
out without any major difficulty.
c. I1 expects to have each item tested and in the system
by the end of February.
d. The end of February looks like a good date for = to start
up test procedures with

e. II has spent time during this monitor trip in setting

in January to work up the test plan and procedures tor e acceptance
tests. This may take about two weeks to accomplish.

with on. an acceptance test for the correlation (image analysis)
system. The main hangu is the correspondence test. 0 feels that
the test recommended by to check cross talk correspondence.is unsatis-
factory. 0 is trying to come up with a better test.
