Approved- for( elease 2003/12/04: CIA-RDP78BO51 r W000100010134-0 Al,,,i } .''I, I'if)", 6903-i0 STAT STAT II The main roasorr !' or. the meeting was the discussion of the foundation. I.' The s'-%e and weight of the foundation were established. 6-0 x I L--() x 7' or minus. The weight of the base with ll u.: IN. N. L. si Lting on top arrunts to 110 kips. 2. The Young modules of the soil was chosen and the natural frequency of the base was calculated to be 76 cps. This number was far above the range that could prove detrimental. 3. With the establishment of the bases response, we looked at vibro Lon caused by a stage of the equipment and the influence on a "soft" base. 4. It was decided that the concrete base should be as heavy as possi1,1,,- and it should sit on a bag of sand enclosed in poly- otnelene, Lo prevent intrusion of moisture and silt. 5. discussion turned to the amount of air and the temperature .rise el that air being supplied to CVR 10 and CVR 11. Using g-:::eral parameters, it was decided to double the air pressure, thereby hoping to double the quantity, thereby halving the temperature rise at the point of use. This will entail higher pressure ducting, humidity control not required previously, and of course, more horsepower. 6. The advent of more and higher pressure air led to the request for more nozzles for possible more hoses as they may be required. 7. `i'hc~ ability to attach and run more hoses at later date led to the requiPemedt that several pipes be placed thru the foundation for .future cable-,,. hoses or whatever. These are to be below the grating level.. 8. The black box capacity was discussed at length. It was decided that the capacity would be increased. The pressure would be raised. There would also be two different pressure uses. 50 psi - 50 cfm 12-1/2 psi - 25 cfm Declass Review by NIMA/DOD The 50 psi .- 50 cfm will have dual instrumentation. H humidity T temperature This sill be accomplished by having a constant bleed of 2 cfm to atsr::ophere.
