MONTHLY TECHNICAL PROGRESS REPORT #10-ATTACHMENT #1
Testing of the background lighting system was started during this reporting
.period and is continuing. A large majority of procured components have been
received and mechanical assembly is approximately 75% complete. The program is
on schedule with no problem areas anticipated.
The attached photographs show several views of a high intensity light source
partially assembled and situated within the framework which houses the X-Y motion
mechanisms and seats over the light tray (not shown).
Technical Progress for the Period
o Testing of background lamps in progress.
o Majority of procured components received and inspected.
o Mechanical assembly 75% complete.
.0 Electrical harness diagrams are completed.
Objectives for the Next Period
o Completion of mechanical, electrical assembly and installation of
HILS system into GFE light table.
o Preliminary system tests.
o Completion of draft of ATP.
o Completion of draft of operating manual.
