SUBJECT: 1540 Light Table Spare Parts
1. During the spare parts provisioning meeting- 1 December 1970
with representatives, it became 25X1
evident that we would be tied to L-jas the sole source of procure- 25X1
ment for most of the spare parts, including replacement lamps.
2. In an attempt to prevent what appears to be a restrictive
situation I intend to work with EPB and 'IEB to identify spare part
vendor sources. Perhaps some of this information can still be gained
from with further investigation. It i~y.possible that some "reverse
engineering" will be required. Various ave cues will be explored.
From past experience, we may be able to realize cost reductions if we
can identify and use the actual vendor sources.
