SUBJECT: IEG In-House Precise Mensuration Study
1. The Precise Mensuration Study being conducted by IEG/PHD is making
progress even though a heavy work load has been levied on PHD by other com-
ponents during the past two months. PHD reports that the available personnel,
free to devote time to the study, has been very limited. While the delays
have put the study a little behind schedule, the situation is not critical.
2. TSSG/RED responsibility in this study is to provide the contractor
personnel to do the field work on domestic sites for Task 2 -- Ground Truth
Data Bank. IEG/PHD expected to have 55% of this task accomplished by
1 August, but the heavy work load only enabled them to accomplish 4+5%. The
25X1 contractor, was requested to delay the start of their field
25X1 work two weeks. ompleted their first two-week field trip by
the end of August, They will accomplish the remaining field trips as assigned
by IEG/PHD.
