Reference attached list of deactivated missile sites.
In order to fulfill the requirements of Task I of our ACDA contract'
we feel that a study should be made on operational. and deactivated
status of the same sites, rather than on similar sites, and that
at least two examples of each type of site be studied. However,
we have surveyed the film available in the Washington area and in
the Data Base at I and find it inadequate to accomplish the
requirements of work statement.
Following is a summary of available imagery.

Seven Isites are covered after deactivation; image
quali y ranges from fair to excellent. Of these seven
sites, four are covered by aircraft photography from the
data base, with very poor and unacceptable resolution.

deactivation.
