into r branches. These branches are as follows: The Systems Research
Branch .th ll as Chief and as Deputy Chief, and the, 25
Systems Development Branch with as Acting Chief and
as Deputy Chief. The Branches w ll consist of: I -J
The Branches have been divided into functional areas with a logical
relationship to the R&D cycle in mind. Generally speaking, those Ructions
are as follows:
a. The Systems Research Branch will concentrate on basic research,
feasibility studies, analysis, breadboarding, and experimental prototypes.
The major emphasis will be on research, laying a technical base for,
future developments, and the proving of concepts. The scope of research
performed in this Branch may change pending a contempt
