In answer to your inquiry of dated
4 April 1957, I have compiled the following imfammstion.
The instruments about which you desired information, the
Stereo Slope Meter and Stereo Elevation Meter, are no longer
beingummfactured. It was determined, through evaluation,
that the accuracy desired of the instruments could not be
obtained from volume-produced models. Further, the manufacturer
decided that the cost of individual production of the items
would be to great for the market for which the instruments
were designed. The manufacturer stopped production on both
instruments about six months ago.
/ have been able to obtain copies of descriptive brochures
and instruction manuals for each of the instruments and these
should contain the answers to any additional questions you have
about them.
If there is further information that you desire, or if I
can be of help in any other matter, please do not hesitate to
