S. Preparatory Group. 2. We have Just finished the preparation of an index, ''Coaparisons of Aerial Reconnaissance Sensors", end forwarded five (5) copies to the Air 3paee 3ub-Group. A copy is attached for your information and retention. This is a rather unique document vhieh like all things will be the subject of discussion and probable modification. The Air Space -13b-Group feels that it will be most useful back up data for its die-. cuions with the 3ov1ets starting next week in Geneva. 3. Alao under preparation in our laboratories at the present time another volume which will consist of indexed photogrephic samples illustrating the results or simulated results achievable with a 36" focal length lens.film system at 5,000', 50,000' and 150 miles with a re*ultant resolution of some 25 lines/mm. In addition many large well paper-type enlargements are being prepared for the graphic displays and difJcussions at Geneva. 4. It continues to be difficult to support the Air 'Space Sub-Group in Aeeting its sohedule. The other members of the ;ub-Group have been an3igned to it on a hal time basis while we have carried on with our regular work prioritise and fitted in the production for the Sub-Group, sometimea on an overtins basis, as best we could. The last of our reproductions are scheduled now to be delivered to the 3Ub-Group on TUesday, 4 November 1958. Thereafter, we would expect to remain in standby to provide such other technical data or displays as might be requw3ted during the course of the discussions at Geneva. ARTNUR C.
