CIA and Joint Report Covers
! 1. This memorandum confirms Our conversation of this date dealing
with the proper captioning of the covers and title pages of reports pre-
pared by the CIA Detachment or by joint effort between any two or more
components of the Center on projects initiated prior to the establishment
of National Projects but which are published and disseminated by the MC.
2. It NMS agreed and subsequently approved by the Executive Director
of !PIC that:
a. Reports prepared by the CIA Detachment would be identified
as "Central Intelligence Agency Photographic Intelligence Reports";
bear the CIA seal, and show that such reports were "Pdblished and
Disseminated by National Photographic interpretation Center".
b. joint reports would be identified as "Joint Photographic
Intelligence Reports", bear the seals of those components involved
in its preparation, and show that such reports were "Published and
Disseminated by National Photo
