IAS has the only known complete serviceable file of 70 mm chips filed by V/'AC. r Pi to t O f-'lO:~l\ I G I IvDi A mosaics were made by AMS; the placing on WAC's and shooting into 70 mm DP film was accomplished by NPIC (PSG). 4. Through EXSUBCOM auspices a review of the various indices produced within the community was undertaken and the Photo-mosaic Index as an inter- agency product was abandoned. AMS no longer produces the film mosaics at the scale of the WAC's although a mosaic is stiII produced for use in a new index publication called "Index to Panoramic Coverage." This index must be used in conjunction with the NP I C-produced Mission Coverage Statistics for the same mission. It does not provide graphical material of the quality required to discern if a target is cloud covered. To search chronologically through coverage available on a single geographic point would require hours and the necessity to acquire many, many reports. The WAC mosaic file enables a P.I. to acquire this data in several minutes. 5. NPIC ceased to produce the Pho-I-o-mosaic Index with the completion of 6. NPIC continued to lay the mosaics on.WAC's and have completed this .25X1 25X1 25X1 activity through mission It requires about 150 hours per bucket to accomplish this activity. 7. PSG put completed WAC's into photo lab and make DN on 70 mm. b. Provide IAS 70 mrn DP,.=holding DN for response from other customers. c. PSG allot the personnel required (4 people tofurnish existing materials by June 70). If it would help to farm out IAS could handle 1-I/2 man-years of effort if it can be performed in IAS. d.
