If the assignment were made on a PCS basis, there appear
couple of ways to handle.
Establishment of a specific position (U.S. Field) -- This would mean
either obtaining an additional slot or taking one from our existing ceiling.
Non-reimburseable detail -- In this case the individual would be
V,{r' carried in our Developmentand would not encumber a specific position.
~ dy,, He would, however, count against our total on-board strength and in
25X1 order for 0 to fill the position vacated by the individual, we
would of course have to be understrength elsewhere in the Center.
Ernie and I suggest that the "detail" basis might be the best approach
initially. If it appears subsequently that our furnishing an instructor
is a sound idea which will be continued for an indefinite period, then
it would probably be prudent to establish a specific position.
*The school instructional program indicates a period of less than
one week devoted to Industrial/Atomic Energy instruction.
