The National Cryptologic School is pleased to announce Class 01-
71 of the National Senior Cryptologic Course, which will be given from
19 October to 18 December 1970 at the National Cryptologic Course
Center located at the National Security Agency Friendship Annex.
Because of the interest you have expressed in sending someone to
this course, you are invited to send one student.
Orders written for military personnel should attach them for admin-
istrative and logistical support to one of the military support elements
situated on Fort Meade. A list of these organizations is attached. A
limited number of transient quarters (BOQs) may be available for course
participants. For those participants who do not choose to use these
facilities or for whom there are no longer any available, certificates of
non-availability of quarters will be issued. Arrangements for rooms
have been made with the Colony Seven Motor Inn next to Fort Meade.
Bus transportation to and from the motel has been arranged. The pro-
cedure for making reservations is attached.
The nominee must have a TOP SECRET clearance with CRYPTO autho-
rization and be indoctrinated for Category III COMINT and
access. Certification of clearance, CRYPTO authorization and Category
III COMINT indoctrination must be transmitted electrically by your cog-
nizant Special Security Officer (SSO) to the National Security Agency,
