Today, Friday, 30 October, 1330 - Mr. Robert Froehlke, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Administration, Lt. Gen. Donald Bennett, Director, DIA, and DIA, to tour the Middle East display in the Main Auditorium. b. Today, Friday, 30 October, 1530 - Undersecretary of State John N. Irwin and party to be briefed by Mr. Lundahl and tour the Middle East display in the Main Auditorium. c. Executive Council Meeting Notes reported on items of interest from the Executive Council Meeting of Tuesday, 27 October. Of particular note were the following: a. Middle East coverage after 5 November was discussed. b. It was announced that have chartered an aircraft to fly their people back and forth between California and Washington, D. C. He stated that a CIA Notice would be out within the next week or so detail- ing the new procedures. The new Notice will relax somewhat the current restrictions. 25X1 8. reported that there is renewed pressure from the Chairman , DDI Historical Board, to have an orderly completion of manuscripts. 25X1 9.
