It is my pleasant duty to inform you that you were elected an
Active Member of at the regular meeting
of the Board of Trustees held on June 18, 1970.
The most important function of Active Members is to interpret
the needs and desires of patrons of theCoration, and to answer
questions relating to the activities of Suggestions designed
to improve the unit within your building will also be most helpful..
You will be invited to attend at least one meeting during the year,
possibly more, and you will be interested in reading the Annual
Report and occasional interim reports. I am sure you will find
these duties more pleasureful than laborious.
You have already received a copy of the By-Laws, the "Story of
and the Annual Report for 1968. If, after reading the material
you have any questions, please, call me. An interim membership meeting
is usually held in the Fall and the Annual Meeting in April each year.
Please accept my heartiest congratulations. The Corporation, of
which you are now a part as an Active Member, is possibly the most
unique'in the United States. ?
