1. This memorandum formalizes, for the record, recent
exploratory discussions which have taken place relative to
assignment As you may know, the Chief of Station,
designate, has indicated that he would be most
pleased to have s his Support Chief, The Deputy Director
for Support has approved our nomination of I o the Chief,
Europe Division. Short of some unforeseen happenstance, I would
anticipate that ill depart in the latter part of
this year.
2. The Support Career Service Panel is currently reviewing
Support Officers in order to identify a replacement for in
NPIC. A nomination should be forthcoming to you within the next two weeks.
