Retirement of the system is effective upon receipt of this message. Until such time as detailed instruc- tions are furnished by this Headquarters, the following will apply: a. There will be no new materials introduced into the SENSINT Control System. If it is necessary that certain materials be handled within a secure system, such materials will be handled within the TALENT System. However, ander unique circumstances, whereby only a SENSINT SPO exists within .a particular head- quarters, the System will not be retired until all materials within the headquarters have been downgraded/ sanitized or destroyed. 50X1 HANDLE VIA TALBIIP CONTROL SYSTEM ? There will be no sensint briefings and debriefings except in those cases whereby an individual was indoctrinated solely to protect SENSINT products stored within the respective Headquarters. In this instance, incumbents may remain indoctrinated, and indoctrination of replacement personnel is in order. This will rernain effective until such time as the materials have been released, downgraded and/or des- troyed. ? At this point, the individuals concerned will be debriefed. In addition, there will be no SENSINT augmentation requests. All future augmentations will be within the "T" or "T/KH" systems. However, retirement of the SENSINT system will not be the basis for increasing "T" or "T/KH" billets. d. Materials presently ort file will not be released without further instructions from this head- quarters. The exception in this case being those ma materials released under the downgrading/sanitiza- tion program, i.e., IBID. e. All records may be destroyed as soon as they have served the needs of the Headquarters. Briefing and debriefing statements excluded. f. Those individuals who are TALENT certified will have automatic access to SENSINT materials.
