THROUGH: ExecUtive Director, NPIC
SUBJECT: PUblications Division Report for lehrUary 1962
1. Twenty-three publications were produced in the division in February,
including 13 detailed reports, one technical publication, one sitsum, 2 sit-
sum supplements, 2 MCIs, 3 MCPs, and one project status listing. One of the
detailed reports was a CIA publication; the ethers were NPIC documents. Total
page count for the items listed above is 48o pages, showing a steady rise since
November (296 pages). December production was 405 pages and January 446. The
February total is also substantially higher (20%) than that of February 1961
(399 pages).
2. The twenty-three February puhlicatiOns contained 80 illustrations,
including 22 photos, 34 maps, and 24 line drawings. In addition to the
illustrations appearing in publications, the division produced 40 briefing
boards, 20 charts, 2 maps, 2 farms, and 2 signs; mounted miscellaneous ma-
terials; and furnished Headliner support for NPIC and H Street.
