Liebengood looked at the Committee schedule and said they were interviewing Madigan, Minority Counsel, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, spoke to Howard Liebengood, Minorit Staff Director of the Committee, and informed him that former Chie would be available to talk to Madigan on the afternoon of 30 December 1976. 2. LIAISON Mrs. Audrey Hatry, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, called to request an additional two copies of the Indian Ocean Atlas that was provided for Chairman Daniel Inouye (D., Hawaii). Mrs. Hatry said the copy provided for the Chairman was being sent to his personal office and they needed two copies for the Committee office. I told her I would provide them. 3, LEGISLATION Contacted Jim Davidson, on the staff of the Sener Pt Qprations Subcommittee on Intergovernmental Relations, and arranged to meet with him on 11 January 1977 to discuss zero-base budget review. Senator Edmund Muskie (D., Maine), who introduced a major zero-base budget review bill in the 94th Congress, apparently is planning to reintroduce the legislation next month shortly after the 95th Congress convenes. 25X1 4. LEGISLATION Spoke with Robert Kuttner, on the staff of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, to check on the prospects for new legislation on corporate bribery and inaccurate reports by international corporations to the SEC. Mr. Kuttner said he anticipates legislation similar to that which we worked on last fall to be introduced early in the 95th Congress.
