MEMORANDUM FOR: Morning Meeting Participants
At the ICG meeting Thursday afternoon we were advised
that Mason Cargill and Tim Hardy have been assigned
to the staff of the Intelligence Oversight Committee.
Ambassador Murphy has asked that the two of them conduct
an inquiry into the manner inwhich. the Intelligence
Community's Inspector Generals and General Counsels
operate and what changes have been recommended.
Within the next week either or both Cargill and
Hardy will be contacting these offices to pursue their
study.
