THE MILITARY SITUATION I.N CAMBODIA REF. SENSITIVE -Sharp skirmishing has continued around Svay Rieng City in. the far southeast during the past few days and renewed Khmer Communist attacks have occurred near Prey Veng City some 25 miles east of Phnom Penh. Government units in both areas have gotten the best of the fighting, however, and have reportedly killed over 50 insurgents. Government defenders at a garrison position near the east bank of the Mekong River closer to Phnom Penh also report- edly killed 50 insurgents in repulsing heavy attacks on November 21.
