Mrs. Meir, now interim Prime Minister, said the guerrillas
who had carried out the raid at Qiryat Shemona yesterday had in-
filtrated from Lebanon and that the Lebanese were responsible.
Lebanon's Prime Minister, Solh, disclaimed responsibility and
stated that commando operations from Lebanon had ceased and they
were now originating inside Israel.
Tank and artillery duels continued on April 11 along the
Golan front as President Asad received a warm welcome in Moscow.
