Huang-vuan Army Barracks AL 1, Lan-chou MR, China.
Huang-vuan Army Barracks AL 1 is on the west side
of Huang-yuan approximately 26 nautical miles (nm)
west of Hsi-ning in Tsinghai Province, China.
The installation is in a valley on the road and
rail line west of Hsi-ning. Many cargo trucks and
other vehicles have been observed at this installation
indicating the possible presence of a motor transport
regiment.'
The installation was stable from 1962 until the
period Most of
two billeting areas (Ag and Aj) were constructed
during that period.
Billeting area Aj was constructed concurrently with
Huang-yuan Storage Area which is
immediately north of the army barracks.

in the area include Huang-yuan
and Huang-yuan
Building measurements within areas Ac and Aj
were derived by the photo interpreter and may
not fall within the accuracy statement. Conversion
from square meters to square feet was determined
by the factor: 1 square meter equals 10.76 square
feet.
