INTRODUCTION
This report updates the portion of a previous NPIC report 2/ dealing '
with SSM Tracking Facility 8 and describes the new construction activity and
significant changes at the.facility from March 1967 through December 1968.
SSM Tracking Facility 8 (Figures 1 and 2) was first observed on Church
Door photography in June 1962 and is located 13.5 nautical miles southwest:
. of Launch Complex A. No security measures have been observed at the road-
served facility.

BASIC DESCRIPTION
The facility was expanded between March and August 1967 by one Radar A
and 13 buildings, making a total of two Radar A's and 17 buildings. No
activity has been observed since August 1967.
