1. This memorandum is in response to your requirement dated 11 September
1963, requesting a search for Soviet electronic vans in Cuba.
2. A thorough search of all applicable photography involving selected
areas in Cuba was conducted as per requirement instructions. The search areas
included~23 SAM sites, six SAM assembly sites, four EW/GCI sites, three ports
and one military area.
