REQUIREMENT RR/HTA/E/R123/56: Describe major changes since World War II in
the Telephone and Radio Plant "Krasnaya Zarya", Leningrad, USSR.
The Leningrad Telephone and Radio Plant "Krasnaya Zarya", located
in north-central Leningrad, manufactures radio equipment and is a major
producer of automatic telephone exchanges.

25X1 D A study of hotography shows that the only apparent
changes in this plant since the previous photo coverage in 25X1 D
are the following new buildings which are annotated on the accompanying
photograph of the plant:
1. A four or five story building, measuring 200'x 651, plus a
65'x 601 wing, has been constructed near the river in an area
formerly occupied by several shop-type buildings.
2. A single-story storage-type building, 185'x 401, has been con=-
structed near the northern boundary of the plant-area.
