The Ungeny Railroad Station, Yards, and Shops, located in southwest
European USSR just east of the Rumanian-USSR border, is reported to be a
change-of-gauge site on the Kishinev-Ungeny-Iasi rail line.

A comparison of photography with that ofeveals .that there

has.been. a significan increase in the amount and scope o activity at this .in-
stallation.Though-4uality and scale of the photography preclude a detailed
analysis, it is evident that the trackage has een nearly doubled and several 25X1 D
new buildings have been added. Also, a small classification yard, four to
eight tracks wide, and several buildings have been constructed 1..3 miles north
of the main yard.
