in the vicinity of Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR.
A railroad bed is under construction just west of Lake Issyk-kul between
Rybach'ye (42?26'N, 76?l1'E) and Kochkorka (42?13'N, 75?46'E).
Construction activity, which consists primarily of cut and fill operations,
is evident along a 15-kilometer section beginning approximately 17 kilometers
southwest of Rybach'ye and extending to approximately 11 kilometers northeast
of the town of Kochkorka.
